Your whole back office in one place. Set up for Canada.
Sales, invoicing, accounting, inventory, purchasing, projects and more, in one system that already knows GST, HST, QST and PST. Our team moves your data in from the tools you use today.
A 20-person business runs on five tools that don't talk to each other
The same order gets typed three times, into sales, stock and the books. Month-end takes days, and the accountant chases receipts. Nobody has a clear view of cash, margin or stock without a spreadsheet.
Canadian small businesses have fully connected their digital tools, though almost all use some.CFIB digital adoption report, via Lexpert, 1 October 2025
One system where everything is connected, and done
Type an order once, and sales, stock and the books update on their own. Month-end is a check, not a project. Your accountant logs in and finds everything. Cash, margin and stock are on one screen, up to date. Set up for Canada, and our team moves your data in for you.
One system
Replace the pile of apps with one system
Done & Done runs on Odoo, open-source business software used by millions of people around the world. Every app shares the same customers, products and numbers, so a change in one shows up everywhere.
Sales & CRM

Same system, same data
Connect, don't replace: where a separate tool makes more sense, such as your payroll provider, your bank or your Shopify store, we connect it instead.
One order, start to finish
Type it once. Everything else follows.
Follow one example order through a small business. Every team works from the same record, so nobody copies anything from one system to another.
- 01 · Sales
A customer says yes
Your customer accepts a quote online, or your rep marks it won. That's the only time anyone types the order.
Quote Q-0142 · Northwind Supply, Ottawa · 40 cases × $38.50 = $1,540.00 - 02 · Inventory
Stock is set aside
The 40 cases are reserved the moment the quote is accepted. If you're running low, your buyer gets a reorder suggestion.
52 on hand → 40 reserved → 12 left · below reorder point of 20 - 03 · Invoicing
The invoice goes out with the right tax
GST, HST, QST or PST is picked from where the customer is. The invoice goes out in English or French, whichever they prefer.
Subtotal $1,540.00 · HST Ontario 13% $200.20 · Total $1,740.20 - 04 · Accounting
The books update themselves
Sales, receivables and HST payable are posted as it happens. Your accountant sees the same numbers you do.
Dr Receivables 1,740.20 · Cr Sales 1,540.00 · Cr HST payable 200.20 - 05 · Reports
You see cash and margin today
Margin on the order and your cash forecast are up to date, without anyone opening a spreadsheet.
Margin on this order $576.00 (37.4%) · cash forecast updated

How it works
From sign-up to running your business, with a person helping at every step
Sign up
You get a working company, already set up for your province's taxes, in English or French.
We move you
Our team brings over your customers, products and full history from QuickBooks, spreadsheets and your other apps.
Go live
We run both systems side by side for a week, and switch over once balances match to the cent.
Run it all
Books, invoicing, sales, stock and projects in one place, with someone to call when you need help.
Built for Canada
Canadian details, done once for every customer
Sales tax rules, both official languages and where your data lives are set up before you log in. You don't configure any of it.
Provinces and territories
GST, HST, QST and PST rules set up for every one of them.
Both official languages
Invoices, menus and documents in English or French, per customer.
Hosted in Canada
Run by a Canadian-owned provider, with backups kept in Canada.
The right tax on every invoice
The tax follows where your customer is, so an order shipped to Quebec gets GST and QST, and one shipped to Ontario gets HST.
| Province | Tax on a sale | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Ontario | HST | 13% |
| Quebec | GST + QST | 5% + 9.975% |
| British Columbia | GST + PST | 5% + 7% |
| Alberta | GST | 5% |
| Nova Scotia | HST | 14% |

Who it's for
Owner-led businesses juggling too many apps
Wholesale and distribution
You buy, stock and ship products, and your stock count never quite matches the books.
Professional services
You sell time and projects, and billing depends on someone copying timesheets into invoices.
Shopify sellers with stock
You sell online and wholesale, and orders, stock and accounting live in different places.
Questions
What business owners ask us most, from what it runs on to how we move your data.
Ask us somethingIs this one more tool to learn?
It's meant to replace several. Sales, stock, purchasing, projects, invoicing and the books live in one system, so you have fewer logins and fewer places where numbers can disagree. Where replacing a tool doesn't make sense, such as your payroll provider or your Shopify store, we connect to it.
What software is it built on?
Odoo Community, the open-source edition of Odoo, business software used by millions of people around the world. We host it, set it up for Canada, keep it updated and support it. Done & Done is independent and not affiliated with Odoo S.A.
How do you move my data in?
Our team does it with you. We bring across customers, suppliers, products and your full transaction history from QuickBooks or Xero, contacts and deals from your CRM, and whatever lives in spreadsheets. We run old and new side by side for a week and switch over once the numbers match.
Where is my data stored?
In Canada, with a Canadian-owned hosting provider. Backups are kept in Canada too.
Does this replace my accountant?
No. Your accountant gets their own login, so they can see what they need without you sending files back and forth.
What will it cost?
We're setting prices with our pilot businesses, as a simple monthly plan per company in Canadian dollars with a few users included. Write to us and we'll share where we are.
Notes from the workshop
What we're learning as we build Done & Done, written for business owners, without jargon.
Help us build it right
We're talking with Canadian business owners before we launch. If you run a business of 5 to 50 people, we'd like 30 minutes to hear how your back office works today.
- No sales pitch, just questions about your week
- Pilot businesses get a hands-on move from their current apps
- Investors and advisors are welcome to write too
